Hello there, my name is Robert, I am from Luxemburg and some Nigeria Guy stole 10.000 € by scamming (I was selling a motorbike).

Now i really want to help you guys as best as I can, to prevent such things!

Hi Robert, and welcome to the board. We're sorry you've been conned. If you're beating yourself up about it, please don't - scammers have had practice at this. The best way to fight these scammers is to tell everyone about them - doing this will reduce their chances of finding an unsuspecting victim to scam. If you need anything else, let somebody with a colored name know - they're here to help.

I am the Colonel, also known by many other names on different forums. I have been baiting scammers for a couple of years and am a member at 419eater.com. I will be looking around the site and learning as much as I can.

Welcome over here, colonel!

Welcome Colonel ..... I understand that you have been trying your best to support our warnings over at The Robin Hood Fund.

It's nearly always the same at large sites; there are people who just don't trust strangers coming in and posting scam warnings. It's a pity that it is the very same people who fall for scams.

That RobinHood site is really bad, a new scammer shows up at least once a week and everyone falls for it. Most gullible bunch I ever saw. And they refuse to believe that anyone would do something like that. Thanks for the welcome!

I can see you too.
The forum works fine. Hopefully the storm will pass soon and people can get here on our proper url.

edit. Well shucks. The url does seem to be working. I guess it's my bookmarks and the links that are out of action.

edit again. Forget that. When I type www.scamwarners.com into my browser, I can't get in. But if I link to the forum using Google from here:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=scamwa ... =firefox-a

Then this:
http://scamwarners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1585

Then delete eveything but www.scamwarners.com, I can get the main page up and refresh it as many times as I like.

I guess I'm going to have to start putting forum links into my warns.

It is much easier to get here than it is to log in. I log in, get a error message, back space twice and then hit refresh, and then I'm magically logged in. :?

I have referred a few people here, but I don't think they know the secret handshake. One person had a story to share, but I guess it can wait for calmer weather. :)
