Welcome, Eric (ScamIam).

Have a good read around the various topics & feel free to ask as many questions as you like. We can not cover every conceivable scam because there are so many variations but there is a wealth of knowledge & experience here so someone should be able to help.

Hello to all scam fighters! I am new to this site, but from what I have read so far, I am amongst like-minded people. I make my home on the west coast of the USA. Let's get these bad guys!

Hi Randy.

Welcome to ScamWarners.

This site is more about warning victims and potential victims of fraud, not about making scammers feel foolish.

If you want to do that, why not try our sister site - http://www.419eater.com where some very talented people make scammers lifes' hell.

Newdonym,

Thanks for your tip. I have gone to the 419eater site and found some wonderful information there. I have done some of the scambaiting tactics described, but have learned many more. In sum, scambaiting is certainly an entertaining pastime.

Welcome, Randy.

Scambaiting can be very satisfying, but I do advise you follow the 419Eater mantra - bait safe :)

Hi SunTzu,
Alway nice to have new eater members join us here. Eater is all about fun while learning, this is where we use that knowledge to help victims of scams directly, not as much fun but very rewarding
