Hi pfffft and welcome to ScamWarners.

Just to clarify, this site is solely for eduction and support for victims or potential victims of internet crimes, predominantly focusing on advance fee fraud. We don't scam anyone here, even scammers. We do post their information for everyone to find.

Have you sent a payment to a scammer with Western Union and now realize it's a scam? If the payment has not been picked up, you can cancel it immediately! 1-800-448-1492

Hi Pfttt,

I noticed one of your posts earlier at 419eater, they will show you a few tricks to baiting scammers, they certainly dont scam scammers, just waste their time and resources while passing on relevant information to us.

I realise that there are many people out there who think that all of those people who fight scams are pimply nerds living in their parents basement.

There's another common misconception for you.

You will find 419eater members to be very helpful and if you do find some scammers details please come back and post them up, it really does make a big difference

Hello everyone,

I'm Cliff, and I specialise in phone warnings - I know there are plenty of email warners (not enough of course - we still need more!) but phone warnings are rather nerve wracking and it's easy to see why some people don't do them! Phone warning is also much slower and costs real money to make the calls, but I hope it's made up for by giving the warnees a chance to ask questions and hear a real human voice.

Anyway, if we've spoken, and you're here because of our chats, I am glad you took them seriously, and now have a chance to see just what we do.

Hola....
Create on Eater,I dont bait much any more...mostly warning.
I was asked by a baiter to include Scamwarners in my warnings so I thought Id pop in to say hi and ask if its ok to include yer link in my templates?
by Ralph Sat Feb 28, 2009 8:20 pm
That would be a question for Jillian but I am sure she wouldn't mind.

It does help to add legitimacy to your warnings but I also believe it is important that those you warn can find you here as well so they do know you are legitimate.

Hullo...

My nickname is Quirked Eyebrow and I have a blog (http:chicaneryconsscams.blogspot.com) where my primary focus is aimed at rent scammers. I'm not shy about adding information from other venues because I have found that some emails are used for multiple scams ~ housing and pets seems to be a consistent pairing at times, for example.

I'm always happy to run into sites that inform/educate on scammers and their methodology so keep up the good work. :)

Hunting scammers is like eating peanuts ~ it's really hard to stop at just one.

Hi Quirked Eyebrow,

Welcome to Scamwarners,

It's always nice to meet others who dedicate their time to preventing people from being scammed, I will be sure to take a look at your blog a little later

Just adding
I don't particularly care for the social predators on this planet and this blog is part of my way of saying so
It looks like we have something in common, my time spent here is my way of saying so :D

I did see a link to our sister site www.419eater.com I am sure it wouldn't be a problem if you wanted to link www.scamwarners.com as well
