Hello. I'm a little nervous about sharing. The bad guys must know this place exists, too, right? :(
Otherwise I'm glad to join y'all! :)

thank you for the welcome, and welcome to Cristobaldelicia [my role as resident newbie was very brief]

in answer to the concern of another member, souliman is not my real name.

hello everyone. i stumbled across your site research hillcroft financial. and boy, am i glad i did! i had a company called culver solutions try to run the advance fee scam on me and was 3 days from sending them 1600 dollars before i found their profile on the bbb website. i had searched the before, but must have misspelled something because they didn't come up the first time. anyway, i called them back and told them i reported them to the mass. state police and haven't heard from them since. now my only problem is...are there any REAL lenders out there that can help people with great jobs and income, but lousy credit? i'm trying to get an $8500 personal loan to help pay for my father-in-law's funeral expenses, and pay off my car, and start re-building my credit, but it seems like all the are out there are people trying to scam people that are desperate for another chance (like myself).

Hi Papi

Welcome to Scamwarners

So glad you found out it was a scam before losing any money, there are lots of people who have not been as fortunate as you.

I dont have any good news for you I am affraid, I doubt you will find a legitimate deal as enticing as the many fake ones out there, they prey on those who can least afford to lose the money and have absolutely no conscience.

Please be aware that you are very likely to be contacted by many new loan companies who will offer you similiar deals and they will most likely be the same group of scammers, if you evr get contacted by anybody out of the blue or if any bank asks you to pay by Western Union, or even if you have the slightest doubt, come back and ask.

We will not be able to give you financial advice or suggest a loan compnay, we simply dont have knowledge in that area to give you any reliable advice, but we do know quite a bit about online scams.

I do have one final concern for now, have you provided any presonal information to these scammers, there is a good chance that they will use that information to further their scamming, if so, let us know what you have provided *dont actually give us the details, just what type of details  ) and we will be in a better position to advise you.

Any questions at all, dont hesitate to ask

the only info they got from me was my cell number my address, and my name. no ssn, or dl number. that was going to be sent in when i wired my 'security collateral'. when i think about it, after i kick myself in the rear for coming that close to being screwed, i almost have to laugh. the thing that made me most suspicious, and my wife told me i was be too cautious (that's one for us guys  ), was the guy i talked to used horrible grammar. and he used the word 'definitely' about 5 times in every sentence. i figure someone that is a legit financier should be fairly well educated and well-spoken.

Welcome to Scamwarners Papi_Rob71. Glad you realised the scam in time and did not lose any money.

Because the scammer now has your name and home address do not accept any deliveries that you are not expecting. If you receive a cheque or something similar (such as a money order) take it to your bank or local police and tell them you think it is fake. It will be counterfeit.

Please post if you have any questions or concerns. Scamwarners are happy to advise and help whenever possible.

Hi,

My name is Aloke and I live in NYC, US. Much as I detest these scammers who shoot off these emails about sharing their 'inheritances' I have not been able to stop them. I wonder if people really fall for these. Anyway, I just joined today.

Welcome Aloke!

Yes, unfortunately, as much as we dislike the scammers too, (and I can say with confidence we dislike them very, very much!), many people fall for a variety of the scams, and not just the inheritance ones.

Please read around the forums and post up any of the scams you come across, leaving out your personal details. That will help others find out about the scams and educate themselves hopefully before they become victims.

Glad you are here! :D
