0Welcome to Scamwarnrers (and 419eater)!
If you mean fake ID you send to scammers, we don't support sendiing something they can (and do) reuse in their scams.
Not all victims will recognise they are fake.

Hi JohnEroton and welcome. As others have said, 419Eater is the place to post about scambaiting. ScamWarners is a great place to post information about the scammers so that potential victims can find it.

If by fake ID's you mean the ones the scammers are sending to you, we do have a place to post those here. There is a forum for them here: viewforum.php?f=28
with a thread specifically for fake ID's used by scammers: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=290

Please do make sure they are well marked as FAKE or USED BY SCAMMER before posting them here so that scammers can't copy and reuse them. An easy place to both host and mark ID's is at http://www.scamwarners.com/main/ There is a feature for watermarking the photos when you upload them.

Let us know if you have any questions. :D

'Lo, all ~

Jillian, thanks for that information. You answered my question before I asked it!!! :dancebaby:

I'm working one lad who has several identities, and it's clear that he's new at this. You see, I've got this "dead relative" and stand to "inherit" scads of money. One of the documents he requests? A DEATH CERTIFICATE. Hello?!?! He's yet to satisfactorily explain why I would have a death certificate from a (fake) relative I never knew, and can't seem to get himself over that hurdle. (And I'm not helping, of course.) Anyhoo, he's pretty loose with his identities and other info, so I was going to get about to posting details and was just about to ask where to do so. Thanks!

Cheers!

EDIT: Forgot to ask, where is the best place to post scripts, email addys, etc? In which forum, and would I make a separate topic specific to this moron? THX

Please look at the subsections here. There is one for lottery scams, auction/ebay/craigslist scams, advance fee fraud, etc. Within those sections you can add to a thread for a particular name being used (We have one for Charles Soludo) or start a new thread for the format. Please include the scam email if posting email addresses and headers when available. If you have questions you can always send a private message to me or anyone else on the support team.

Hi All!

I am glad to have found this site and being able to exchange information. I am located in one of the smaller countries in Europe.

When I have nothing to do and when I have some extra time I do scambaiting.

It has become a hobby. 8)

I got inspired by some people that have put their experiences up on websites and simply got fed up with the flood of this sort of messages that keep popping up in our mailboxes.

Scambaiting reminds me a little bit of these first text-based adventure computergames back in the eighties which I used to love... Remember? :-) Some were intelligently made some others were not. The same goes for the scammers :)

Good to be here,
Scambuster

Hi 419Scambuster and welcome to ScamWarners

Please feel free to post any info on scams that you find in the relevant places, as the details that you post may help a potential victim avoid being scammed.

Alan

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Hi I am Ray and I found this site by accident. I run a web based House Sitting service and was very suspicious of some recent applications for membership so did a Google on their phone numbers and fonnd them listed here. It confirmed my suspicions.

This seems like a very useful site so I have now joined.

Welcome raywhite

I'm an item here and at 419eater where I terrorise scammers, in my own cruel little way.

Are you aware of redirect telephone numbers and how recognising might help you to weed out scammers ?

I don't know what kind of service you offer, though scammers infest most parts of the web unfortunately, but getting to know country codes and redirect numbers will be of some help in weeding out the obvious ones.

An extra smart tip is that you don't alert them that you're on to them (if that's possible) but just make sure they never get any trade. That way they won't be alerted to try a new tactic.

Here we like scammers to remain poor - at 419eater we like to make them cry - makes me happy.
