Thanks for the welcome.
Yes I do know about re direct numbers that is what first made me doubt these people.
If you want to know about the service we offer feel free to pm me but I will not put details in the open forum as that would amount to advertising and I do not want to abuse the forum.

I will have a look at 419eater. Sounds good.

Hi Ray and welcome to Scamwarners

So glad you were able to avoid the scammers

well done :=)

Welcome Ray,

Always glad to see someone with an online business who is willing to make the effort to keep the scammers from making use of their site. You can help even more by posting other scammers whose IP's and phone numbers give them away, as I'm sure they will post those same ads on sites with webmasters who are not as vigilant.

hi Ray ..

You are the Web Based "House Sitting" man I seem to remember.

I am guessing that you won't know what the scammers "scam scripts" look like, but you will get to know their e-mail address, phone number and their IP address from when they register at your site.

(You will see lots of UK looking phone number starting "070" ...you may know by now that these numbers are 'redirect/follow me anywhere numbers" that will redirect to virtually other number anywhere in the world.

Please feel free to post the details for others to find when they are searching for their new "House Sitter".

..... as an aside (and just out of interest) I'd be interested in looking at your site. Can you post (or PM me) a link to it ?

Thanks guy's.

I know this is more of a serious help site and thought i could try and help a little and do a little bit to stop any scams.

When i get my PC back (should be next week)i will try and dig out a few baits i was on and post up the details to warn others.

Looking forward to helping others as i continue to learn myself, as i know there are some very good teachers on eater and here.
