Hi, I'm Mike from Belgium.. registered myself here as Unimatrix, nickname I have for more than 10 years on the internet. Glad I read about this site a while back.
I had many doubts on romance mails and stuff that I received. It pains me to see that so many people are trying to scam honest and hardworking people. I'm really irritated by the nigerian scammers.
So I will give my contribution to the site with information I get about scammers.

peace out
Mike

Hi Mike and Welcome to Scamwarners.

Posting the emails and details of scammers saves many from being scammed. Another small thing that can make a huge edifference is to talk to family and friends about scams.

One thing I should point out is that while many scammers are Nigerian, not all scammers are Nigerian, many come from other parts of the world as well

Hi everyone :)

I decided to register since I joined 419eater.com after I was scammed 2 years ago. Was an awful time.
I was advised to post my experience as a warning to others so here we go.

I found a 'job' on Gumtree (UK jobsite) and contacted the people in charge. They claimed they were a company in Australia who needed people in Britain to do their mailing and admin work for the British side of their business. I was in need of money and thought this was a great opportunity. I was 19 so quite naive...
They had set up a website and everything so it seemed genuine.

They then paid me my first wage plus about £900 that I had to send to get my stationary from their other office... in Nigeria. (Even as I write this I feel sick that I was so stupid).

I withdrew the money sent it to the address they gave me and then they cancelled their payment to my bank account. What a fright I got and the bank suspected me of fraudulent activity. Took 5 months to get everything settled and prove to them that I was scammed. Was thoroughly horrible.

I hope scamming eventually becomes a thing of the past and I applaud anyone who is wasting these scammers' time.

Hi My name Is Julie in The US and I need some help and direction. I have a very dear friend I am certain of that is being scammed out of Cotonou Benin Africa. While he has already sent money western union to pay for visa/passport ect he is contemplating sending funds for air travel. I have encouraged him to not do this until I help him do some research I have searched thousands of photos ect and am unable to locate this person. Have searched name of medical facility phone numbers , Doctors that did some bogus medical exam , the travel agency and am afraid if I don't find concrete proof he is going to send thousands to fly this person here. HELP!!!! lol

I have emailed the us consulate/embassy in Cotonou to confirm the medical facility and travel agency as well as to see if they would know who this person is by name. I did find a poem that was written to him on love.com but that wasn't convincing enough lol.

I would appreciate any thoughts , feedback or avenues I havent yet gone through . Thanks for all you do!!!
