Will do! Quick follow up on my last post. I've changed my number, deactivated Facebook and deleted POF and the email account I used for it. Should that be enough to stop the scammer from contacting me?

Along with changing your phone number that should be enough. Just don't accept any emails from strangers. And don't share intimate photos with strangers you just met on the internet. Thanks for posting and sharing your experiences.

Thanks man. Sucks I'll never see the money again but lesson learned and no more dating sites for me. It's incredible the number of news stories I've found about this that are literally the exact same scam.
