I wanted to alert you about an incident that happened to me last week. I have been ordering meds from a pharmacy in Florida for over two years,,,they were recommended by my plastic surgeon and I have filled out documents and faxed them details of my height/weight/etc have spoken with Dr P there a few times and have been very happy....I pay COD and I use the same agent there, Miss A...I have never had an issue and meds arrive in about ten days.I recently called and placed my order....they sometimes need a followup call as they are busy so I called again and Miss A said they were shipping.I always use the same numbers and even have my agents email address. We have exchanged emails in the past when she sometimes confirms they are on their way.

3 days later, Miss A calls and says there is a special...now I know this persons voice.....but it is not COD but moneygram. We have several calls back and forth to her FL number then she gives me her personal No which is a Jamaica No. I question this but there are some free meds involved and brand as opposed to generic. We discuss my personal details and she knows my weight/height so I know it is her.....unless she has a twin or relative with the same voice...and I agree.....I go to the moneygram site and send the $$ amount to Jamaica.,..I ask her why Jamaica and why the slight difference in name......she gives me an acceptable response.....that is where some of the meds come from.....all seems ok, then Dr P...also know his voice!! calls to say that they have sent me double order....I tell him too bad I cannot afford two lots... . we haggle and come to an arrangement..,.,.sent amounts totalling $450 for about 5 months worth instead of 3/3 months .....and they will deliver meds on Monday.

Hear nothing...no delivery...then my usual order with COD arrives on the Wednesday.I tell the mailman I paid and he says no COD......and the mailman will not hand over till I part with the COD price of $272 which I do....I am curious to see if the order is good and genuine...which it is., now I am really confused.....I call Miss A on her cell and she says she would call back....she calls me back and says there has been an error and she will refund my moneygrams...I ask her how the hell could she do that and she says she will look into it and call me back,.,.she does not.....

I call the main line again and ask for Miss A but she has not arrived to work yet......I tell the receptionist what has happened and she tells me that there have been many complaints over the past month about this scam....they only do COD...with several differing names....
I told her that I have known Miss A and Dr P for over two years and I am pretty sure it was them by their voices......slightly Jamaicam/Fl accents..she looks up my details and confirms my tenure with the company. She is now very concerned as all the other client complaints had not implicated the doctor.

She takes down all of the details and has now told me when I need a refill to speak to her and she will direct me to a different agent.....

Moneygram cannot refund me as the funds have been collected...

Is there any way I can get any money back, or is it lost!!

Welcome to Scamwarners.
There's no way of getting your money back I'm afraid. It's meant only for sending money to people you know personally and not for business purposes, so has no customer protection.
No way unless they are arrested and convicted, that it. Something that doesn't happen with the anonymous scammers we normally deal with. But here, you know who they are, so it seems to be a matter for the police.

Welcome here hyathinth33.

I think they used false names which makes it hard to trace them, helped with the fact they used COD and money gram. A genuine company would have used bank transfer, not those money transfer services which, as Arnold pointed out, are for private persons, not for companies to use. Your money is gone unfortunatly.

Being a victim doesn't mean you stand alone. We're here to help you.
