Not enough character spaces always available in subject line

Is it possible to increase the number of characters a member can enter in the subject line when posting a new topic?

Every now and then there's spams that need posted but the scammers are now using longer email addresses, such as the one I received today of [email protected], which makes it impossible to include the spam subject along with the spammer's reply address.

When this happens use a descriptive subject line and make the first line of the post the long email address. This will allow the email address to be displayed in the search results..
