100% scam, I'm afraid.

These are the same people who have run the same scam under about a dozen names now, including Centrum jobs and jobs777. They promise jobs that don't exist, collect fees for "document preparation" (using their fake document companies), and then when too many people recognize their "recruiting company" as a scam, they simply change their fake company name and start over again.

These are the same people who have run the same scam under about a dozen names now, including Centrum jobs and jobs777. They promise jobs that don't exist, collect fees for "document preparation" (using their fake document companies), and then when too many people recognize their "recruiting company" as a scam, they simply change their fake company name and start over again.

Thanks a lot for that dotti! You just helped me save time in filling up their fake forms and future victimization.

Just a quick observation if I may? People can look at the top of this page at the search function and type in some of the addresses previously mentioned. The forum is littered with the likes of Centrum, Jobs777 etc.
ny-recruitment is the latest address the scammers are using I believe. The frauds are operating out of Bulgaria offering fake services.

Do not click on these links, they don't end with a domain but a number. They could lead you to a page which will try to install mallware on your pc. It's best to just ignore these emails and delete them.

They just made up a random number, knowing that people are often fooled by something that simple.

That's how this scam is so effective. It is fairly well organized. The "recruiting agency" doesn't ask for a penny from you. The "document" people are the ones who collect the money--but what the victim doesn't know is that they are the same people, using different names. The scammers even go to various websites and post fake testimonials from "satisfied clients."

Here is one of many threads about this scamming gang, including one offer of a chambermaid job in Ireland (which is actually impossible with Ireland's current visa restrictions.)

When I found out about this, I immediately went to the police, and told them that I had given these guys all my bank account details, then to the bank to tell them the same. They told me not to worry because with the data have, they cant do much. Anyway I'm worried,the money is already in my bank account and the person who talked to me on the phone spoke fluent portuguese. My main concern is that they can do something to harm my family.

Please return to your bank and tell them that you believe some money has been paid into it by criminals. Print out the emails you received, and show these as proof that you are an innocent target in this situation, and are not willingly involved in any fraudulent activities yourself.

You may also want to show these emails to the police, and report there what has happened.

Do not send any money by Western Union or MoneyGram, but follow the advice of the bank and police.

It is unlikely that any harm will come to your family, but do tell the police about this concern also. It is advisable that you now close your current email account and open a new one, and also change your telephone number - then you cannot be contacted by these people again.
