That's why I wanted to bring it up. I have never seen this topic discussed in any anti scam forum.
If the facts were more commonly known perhaps some scammers would be less successful.

Of course they don't! Governments use couriers such as Fedex, Parcelfarce, DPD, UPS etc, or bank transfer, and orders by post for INDIVIDUALS. The sender pays the fees. The carrier wants money for the service PAID AT TIME not an undelivered warehouse full of pending mail awaiting a fee- hopefully to be paid by you

I think it is usually dealt with under "fake sites" over there...if scammers bother to open a fake site for it in the first place. Normally they just open one extra yahoo etc. email that´s used for the courier character. There is little more behind it. It´s one of those additional characters, like barrister, lawyer, banker, Reverend, that the original scammer´s persona uses in order to make the setup look more convincing and to pretend it´s an organisation.

Have you googled your chatter´s or "business partner´s" email yet? It might lead you to ScamWarners...
