I've been a member of 419eater since 2006. It's a great community effort. This is my first time here. I really like the clean lines and practical advice. Great work! Thanks!

BTW, I worked in Benin, West Africa for a couple years and have some area expertise. If you have any trouble obtaining local knowledge that may help your bait, feel free to PM me or post here as I assume the RSS feed will find me.

Hey, thanks GenCon. I recall being severely flamed on my first new topic submit at 419eater for having inadvertently posted twice on 2 different forums. It was brutal and I felt like bailing.

I later realized that the troll was pissed about a recent long-ass bait and a lad gone bad. :(

I remember what it was like starting out. You gotta change your temperament a bit by getting a 'lil hardcore and pissy toward lads.

I really like the tone of this place and look forward to facilitating baits, if solicited.

Good stuff! Thanks - IOTP

Hi itsoktoplay and welcome to ScamWarners. :D I'm glad you like the site. We don't really talk about baiting here, as you can see the sole purpose of the site is information and advice for victims and potential victims. Please do post scammer's formats and information here. Having them searchable helps prevent victims if people take the time to look. Let us know if you have any questions.

Have you sent a payment to a scammer with Western Union and now realize it's a scam? If the payment has not been picked up, you can cancel it immediately! 1-800-448-1492
