This is a scam asking for phone connection charges, his email is [email protected].

Having looked on a similar post entitled "fake solder scheme - [email protected]", it's the same information to send money to i.e. Karen Vassuer, Commerce, Colorado through Western Union. Also it's the same photo he is using, he says he is divorced with a 4 yr old daughter and that he is a Colonel in the Special Forces.

It didn't actually happen to me it was my sister, she got chatting to him on Tagged and after a couple of weeks he started saying he loved her etc, etc, then he mentioned to her about the phone connection and saying he couldn't pay it but he would pay her when he got out of the war zone, luckily she mentioned it to me and I'm sorry to say I'm a bit synical when money is mentioned, thank god and I managed to find things on your site, including a photo (which is the same one used on Tagged) and I knew it was a scam. I have since found him on Facebook.

Thank you for getting back, loubtl!

You will have noticed that any bit of information about a scammer will help others to find a reported scam on our forum. If your sister still has details of his accounts on dating sites, or if she knows additional email addresses used in this scam, phone numbers, addresses the scammer wanted her to send money to, please post it here.

And scammers use prefabricated scripts in their emails. So when a victim does a Google search for sentences she will find her way here, too. A sample of one of his emails could be important.
