Hallo friends,

I'm Borzoi (not my real name, and not related to my main online identity). Wanted to stop in and say hello and thanks for all the good information you provide here. I nearly "bit" on an employment scam, and was saved by reading your site.

Hi and welcome to Scamwarners. Being anonymous is a good idea here, and all breeds of dogs are welcome. :)
I'm glad you found this site useful.
Is your scammer named here, or was it the general advice on scams that warned you?

General advice. In this scam's case, it was the gmail address that was the tipoff that something wasn't quite kosher. Businesses rarely use gmail.

Hi Borzoi and welcome. I'm glad to hear that ScamWarners was able to help you and appreciate that you've taken the time to join and post. Please do let us know if you have any questions. :D

You're definitely right, large businesses don't use free webmail.
