This one seems rather persistant.....even though I have never replied to him (honest! not once!! not even to tell him what an amoral nutjob he is!!) today makes the third time he's emailed me, presenting himself as a soldier currently serving in Kabul.

The story he spins goes like this: he and his buddies, while on routine patrol, stumbled upon and killed off a bunch of taliban....in the burnt-out shell of what was their shelter they (he, his buddies and his unit leader are all, apparently in on this and in full agreement with his plan) discovered a large stash of american cash and gold bars. Since soldiers are so poorly paid for the dangerous work they do, he and his friends have decided that they should not turn this in to the army or to the local gov't, but they are trying to smuggle it out of the counrty so that their families will be properly provided for when they all return home. Having heard from a friend that I was a good Christian and a loyal supporter of American Troops protecting my country (for the record, I'm neither Christian, or American), he hopes I can be of help.

today's email was a lot shorter than the other two, but he's almost screaming to be fleeced. If anyone wants him, I just don't have time, but I can share his email address.

Welcome to ScamWarners dragonbite. Please don't take the fact that the emails are reaching your in box personally. It means your spam settings are not tight enough.

We are not a baiting site, but please post up the email address and the script he is using. Posting the headers is helpful too.

www.419eater.com is a baiting site, you can also post the information there.

Welcome to Scamwarners, dragonbite!

We don't "bait" scammers here. Over at our sister site http://www.419Eater.com, we safely bait scammers, to try to waste their time and resources. This website, Scamwarners, is focused on helping victims of scams and collecting posted info on scammers that a potential victim using google can find, and then hopefully not lose money. Please post the email address and an email or two that you have received from the scammer so that the info shows up in a google search.
