I have gotten an email address from the suppose army leave [email protected] and asked for information for the solder to leave and used this document.

Full Name..

Home Address.

Job..

phone Number..

DOB.

I maybe alone and want something good....But I be damned if I send someone money to come see me. I have read alot of articles that has similar stories. Some have sent money, some their personal info. Yes I have sent personal info before I dived into it more. But it will do them no good. We dont pay for military personel to take a short leave from duty. And they have to submit the leave....we dont!! So in the future...I will not be made a fool of as Im kind of disappointed that this person I FEEL GREATLY is not real.
Signs...... The person cannot call you....person cannot help with money for the pass. (your in the military!! You got MONEY!! Derrrrr!!) Person cannot write from where they are stationed. Ummmm since when?? So when things didnt add up I did some research and come to find out this has been happening to people all over. So Im glad I didnt send money.

Glad you got suspicious! The @usa.com email address is a free email address from mail.com intended to make a victim believe it is an official email address. Real military addresses end in .mil. You are correct a soldier or their family does not pay for leave its awarded by merit by the soldiers comanding officer.

Yeah I kind of felt like a chump about it. I have been talking to this suppose woman for 3 weeks, and I have some feelings for her but I am not giving up my hard earned money for people trying to rip people off or to rip their hearts out. If they cannot call you, write to you, or you cant send them cards or letters....yeah a big warning sign should pop up right there. After I was told I cant for security reasons.....either your some Top secret agent, or your a fake. The very last thing I will do is to verify with the military dept to see if this Michelle is really who she says she is in the U.K. Please everyone using the dating sites like POF and OK CUPID, be careful and verify they say who they say they are first. I been taken for a ride and for 3 long weeks have wasted my time!!

LOL....now that I asked to talk to someone over the phone......this is their reply........and after my reply...

I understand but why is it so hard to contact someone over the phone? Your guarantee is not good enough as I don't know who I am speaking too. I need to speak to a live person over the phone.

Thank you for posting information about this scammer. We strongly recommend dropping contact with a scammer once you identify him as a scammer. They have your personal email address and often have other information you have disclosed to them. With that they can make your life difficult if they choose to.

It is best to just stop all contact. If you want to learn how to mess with scammers safely, go to our sister site: www.419eater.com . There you can learn to be safe on the internet. Otherwise, dropping contact is best.

Once again congratulations.....

Ummm my Fiance?? :bondage: This is after the fact I have asked for contact information or a phone number. I do have the phone number of this Michelle Prisca and wonder what I can do with it? After 4 days of no contact Michelle texted me saying she misses me and is currently on bed rest from her supposed accident. The next day I have gotten this reply from DOD ....hmmmm how timely. I been reading the stories from others and wished they could of done some checking before you send money to a total stranger you never met or talked to over the phone. But I can understand people are lonely, just wants a good relationship. Im sorry but I be dammed if I every send money to a complete stranger and for 880 bucks?? Yeah Im really that desperate!

Hello benrobles,

Thanks for posting the info. I would caution it's not a good idea to keep messing with the scammers if they have your real life information. They are still criminals. If you want to learn how to safely mess with scammers visit our other site www.419eater.com
