Mr. Matt Humphrey from United Kingdom this is his mobile number+447024029267 ,we have exchange emails regarding what I'm applying and today he sent me an email regarding the visa.
Below is his message.
According to the Embassy you will pay 1,000 pounds for the processing fee of the Visa which includes work permit and flight Ticket, also am willing to help you pay 600 pounds so you will pay the rest 400 pounds, i hope that is okay by you, i have heard of different situations whereby after aupair receive the visa they wont come but am doing this because of the way you talk on your email, and i believe you wont disappoint me, so you will be paying 400 pounds for the processing fee.please if you are still willing to work for my Family, i need you to fill the Visa Application form and get back to me so that i can go submit it.

Welcome Maryjoy,

Unfortunately, it is quite clear that you are dealing with a fake job offer from a scammer.

Phone numbers starting with 4470 are not UK cell phones at all. They are free redirect phone numbers that allow the owner to forward calls to phones allover the world. They are frequently used by scammers who are pretending to be in UK when they are actually in Africa or Malaysia.

Second, it sounds as if this person is offering you a domestic position--I'm assuming an au pair, nanny, or household position. It is important to understand that UK does not allow visas to anyone from Philippines for these positions. A real UK resident who had been in touch with the real embassy would know that they could not offer the job to someone in Philippines at all-au pair jobs are only available for residents of specific countries that have an arrangement with UK, and other domestic positions are not available to anyone outside the European Union, period. Even if a visa were available, you would apply directly with the embassy in your country--you would not send money to your future employers or someone they referred you to.

Third, the English tells me the person writing to you is not British, but African.

The best thing you can do is cut off all contact with this scammer immediately. Do not confront him, and do not point him to the thread here.

Yes I agree it is a scam. Anytime a phone number beginning with 4470 appears in an email - be very wary!
If you scroll to the top of this page to the site search function and type 4470, the results will amaze you.
Sorry the scammer has wasted your time...
