This man responded to my friends craigslist post stating this:

The subject part of the email just said hi.
I looked this up through google and found that there is another scam website that a guy had the same exact thing written. The emails that he sent her we as follows:

I'm extremely reticent about my personal life, You know how It all happened when you start reminiscing sometimes, OK ... there we go, I was born In England and grew up around Kent, London, I went to Glamorgan College In UK, And to the nature of my job I'm into sales and marketing, I do Importing and exporting of Antiques, do you like Antiques. Smile, Anyway I have been married and lost my wife 8 years ago........She died of breast cancer,have 3 kids 2 Daughter with a boy, name Is Tessy 16,Britany 21 and John 14 years old, and due to my work, I do the traveling a lot and It Is just so hard for me to work and take care of the kids at the same time.
So my two girls stays with my mom since I lost her Mom. I only go to Venice, Italy, (That’s where they live) and my son live here with me in the state.....once In a while when necessary. My families have been the one who helped me accomplish all my goals in life and the first part of my life has been safely accomplished. My Dad and Mom based In Cairo, Egypt for 10 years due to my Dad's business, He is a Antiques business man and he normally took it to state to supply companies there In the USA, and his really doing good in it. My dad had been to so many countries. Well my mom had to move back to Venice, Italy when we lost my dad.
My Dad is originally from England and my mom Is Italian and also Half Germany, He died 6 years ago and my late wife died 8 years ago and that as been the bad experience in my life. Heart beaten, heartache and heart burn but I guess it heartening and heartfelt, just sometimes I don't know how to narrate about me.
Well, now am doing the same Antiques business and am comfortable with it, I am very comfortable with my Job; the business is really Profitable, My business as been quadruple since the last 3 years, now I have all my money in squirreled away in various bank accounts...lol. Smile.

Than they started to im eachother and he sent her a poem every morning than asked for her address and phone number. He said that he was going to call her the next morning but than never did and told her that he had a cold that affected his voice. He also ended up sending her flowers and the only thing that the card said was love you so much. He also was calling her babe, sunshine, baby, and angel and telling her that he loved her. The emails just started on September 10, 2012.

I am not sure that this person is a scammer but after reading some things on here it sounds like he is. My boyfriend told me to tell her to be careful that it might be a scammer so she has not talked to him since this morning. Please let us know what to do about this situation.
