Some of you know me already and I have worked with you before. I live in the UK. I am another eater. I don't do much of that currently. However I have a much more important role now, in that I take the fight to the scammers recruiting areas/potential victim denial. I am Admin on the Looker sites and have built a strong team there. Some names we have are Amerdos and Guymannnemesis off eater, and Wayne off RD when he can. Some of our roles are scammer detection, information denial, criminal intelligence, scammer time wasting, member protection, advice. I have seen practically every cut and paste introduction to a romance scam that there is. I have seen most of the other types too. We have found major scam syndicates running and taken them out. Often, this means that we have wasted a whole year of scam time. New scammers arrive and we get them all. When we began the purge we had hardly any attacks, and now we have dozens. This is a reflection on the damage and anger we are causing.

you would know me better by a different user name, I have spent some time at the profilelooker site and I have seen the job you have done there, very good work.

Profile looker was once very heavily populated by both scammers and baiters, I used to find many scammers there myself with a profile I had there.

I dont mean to put you on the spot, but I roughly know some of these answers and I dont think you would you mind sharing the answers to my quesions.

How many scammers profiles have been removed from the Profilelooker dating site since you have taken on your position there?

When you first started removing profiles of scammers from the profile looker site, how many per week were you removing?

And finally,
How many scammers a week are you finding now?

We rarely have oportunity to hear from those in the dating site industry, having a baiter there certainly helps. and I think it may be helpful for our visitors to see just how prolific scammers are. Sadly, it would be fair to presume that all of those scammers who no longer have a profile at your dating sites, now have a profile elsewhere

As the ScamWarners site is primarily for the purpose of helping victims from being scammed, I will not suggest that the looker sites would be 100% free of scammers at any given time and I know you dont claim that, those who are questioning if the person they have met on ANY DATING SITE is legitimate should use caution, do some searches for yourself, try google on the email address, ask here or at any other good romance baiting site, you will most likely find some good ones from doing some google searches on the email addresses on romance scammers, romancescam and russiandetective come straight to mind and of course the romance forum at 419eater.

You also have the help of some very devoted romance baiters who I know do endless work to keep scammers from victims so I wish you well with the looker sites and educating your members who simply just want to find love without the worry of having some scammer not only steal their money but also break their heart.

I was given Admin about the 20th of March. On PL the membership stood at about 39,000. On PL we are now down to 14885 Members and we still aren't clean! On Blacklooker we had 36,000 and now down to 29,400, but we have some banned and not deleted. On both sites some are dead profiles. I have 15 staff. But 14 of us float so we can attend any site at random. We do have site specialists such as Lawyer2000/Dee on LL. So the staff per site varies. We cover most time zones to get 24 hour protection. After a month the owner upgraded to PhPFox on PL. A week later on DL and LL and a week later on BL. Then we had a problem and the program bug went back to the fabulous Russians to fix. We had a few weeks of not being able to delete profiles after ban. Followed by 10 days of me testing it. For a guide we get about 8 attacks on PL a day, and a couple of waking sleepers. On Dl and LL 3 or 4 each and sometimes 1 or 2 sleepers. BL is hot. 2 or 3 sleepers and 10 attacks. The kill rate is 100%. We don't mind scammers getting in, or thinking they do, and so if they spend an hour or two mass mailing- it's fine. We know what they are doing, and part of their work day and internet caff fees will be wasted.
The program search tools are very powerful.We run searches on all IP and remove the last digits for the broader sweep. We run IP chains,we have one at 1299 off one IP and another at 1400. I am keeping the statistics on these with big number reports. Persistent and dangerous scammers such as Lovedoctor4love (uses Janelle Stein portfolio) go to 419e. We all work differently, we have the plodders working page to page,we have the quick shooters. I am an able welcome for a scammer, they have serious problems and confusing while on line- and so on. But I don't check on daily bans. The other thing is tagging members gold when we know them. Others know a gold member is totally clean. We don't check on individuals ways with members, we are just concerned with stopping criminals and getting our members happy and safe. Anyone we find who is a victim gets advice and referrals AND A LOT OF FRIENDSHIP FROM OTHER TRUSTED MEMBERS. We soon get to know the members and those with social difficulties and they get the same care. SO- shocking numbers here. Put that across to Myspace andTagged.
And I went to LL as Admin and found the most wonderful lady.So it can work !

Brilliant work. Now if only the other dating sites would employ people like you guys.

1400 attacks from one IP. Damn...

IS 12483 AND REDUCING DAILY = 2402 IN 4 DAYS/600 per day!

The current membership is 7485. We have probably also removed 500 new scammers attempting entry over 3 months. Balance that though with some reduncies removed. Now we are checking the whole site membership individually to make the final clean up. We will also have a list of about 14000 confirmed IP connected with scamming activity.

Sounds like you're doing a great job there.

As you perhaps know, for most baiters/warners, dating sites are treated with a bit of disdain. We see them as a pain because they're just another resource for the scammer to harvest victims from. But maybe that can now change if more site owners/admins follow your lead.

It's gratifying to know that people like you are out there and making a difference.

We have got it all in hand. Vast removal of criminals. and as yet more come for a second helping. The removal of the mind numb. I have another proactive attack scheme going in, using email addresses and invite lists on the social network sites. 20% success rate so far and increasing/ ask me for add lists.

Nice work Began, you'd know me in PL under Vivian ******** . I'm sure you got me gold status, but I haven't been there for a while, work and shifting countries slowed me up a bit

You've done a great job cleaning PL up.

I have pursued the "rember distance and color" specialist to 84 addresses now. Tagged search produced 20 using some of those email addresses there. Those should be available to google now. I can't bait anymore but instead try to ensure they figure on web searches. This, to me, makes the onus come back to individuals. I wish I could do more but have other things in life. Add the addresses to a gmail/etc. account and run a friends request on the social networking site you are on. This should pull out those scammers using that address.

I would be interetsed in the list of scammer email addresses you have, do you have a link you can email me where you update your list, I am constantly after more scammers to compile profiles on and while they are not hard to find, having a list presented to me certainly would make that task a little easier.
