Hi
I met a man online Master Sgt. Paul who claims he is in the United States Army stationed in Kabul Afghanistan we have been chatting for about a week. He wants me to pay a subscription fee so that we can talk by phone. He said the fee of 372.78 is to be sent Western Union and it is refundable after Military verifies you. The email I received asking for the subscription fee is US Military Command Base. Does anyone know if this is valid or a big scam?

Thank you

This is a scam. You are not communicating with a US military soldier.
The pictures (if any) he sent you are stolen.

Please DO NOT tell the scammer he is posted here.

Here are a couple of articles by the US Army themselves that can educate you.

Anytime ANYONE tells you to pay for something by Western Union, it's a scam.
