Please post the emails you have received from the seller (including their email address) and also from the fake shipper.

Global express just returned my call and I told the guy (I couldn't understand his name) that I had a friend in Portland that would stop by and have a look at the car and send me some pictures before it shipped out..... He hung up on me.

I recently found a car listed in New Braunfels, TX online. I contacted the seller on the add. The seller, Martin Porter emailed me back saying the car is being sold as described, clear title. If you want to find out more details about how we can close up this deal contact me.
He sent more pics of car and his email signature is from the company unicef.
I have been very cautious to make sure this isn't a scam. So I asked if the car was in New Braunfels because my sister in law is there and can go look at it and buy if it's good. He responded saying the car is actually located in Portland, OR because if belonged to his dad who passed away. I said, that is even better since my cousin in in Portland and can go look at it. He said great and gave me the location address, 3535 NW 35th Ave Portland, OR and the contact name is Mr. Charles Humbard. I googled the address and saw this scam website come up. I'm a bit concerned however, when I told him that I was going to just fly out there instead and look at it myself that is when he gave me the address and contact name...If a scam why give me the information?

Mrs Gallegos

The point is, what has he got to lose?

You fly to Portland or Texas or wherever and the person at that address has no idea what you are talking about, or why you are there. It has cost the fraudster nothing.

Trust Scamwarners. If the suggested shipper is a scam then the person who recommended them to you is a fraudster and the deal/car is a scam.

Why don't you ring his neighbours at 3333, explain the situation, and see what they say about the "company" next door?
