XAN is an EU-domiciled investment manager that launched its hedge fund Nozomi Fund (Cayman Islands) in May 2014 with 1.000.000 USD in AUM that was invested by XAN. The Nozomi Fund is designed for institutional and high net worth individuals.

Using the combined mechanism and differences and the benefits of EU-based investment manager, prime brokers and administrator, and Cayman Island-registered hedge fund we provide to investors the soft investment mechanism. We do not inform the IRS by the FATCA about our american investors' data. Our investment approaches are american friendly.

The Nozomi Fund is a long/short equity hedge fund that focuses its investments in publicly-traded European (with United Kingdom) and European-related securities. Our target is to outperform the FTSE, DAX, CAC and SMI. We use aggressive long/short equity strategy with daily-monitored portfolio with targeting a week trade horizon. Also we use the middle-level of leverage. It allows to us to control the trade risks and extract the short-term disbalances in stock prices.

Fund manager Austen Casey has extensive capital markets expertise with more than 10 years of equity research and investment management experience. He got his experience in UBS, Sberbank and Barclays Bank as portfolio manager. He is in-depth knowledge gained from extensive research provides invaluable insight and access to attractive investment opportunities in EU-stocks and securities.
