scammed by a Michael Kors fake site

Hi, sadly I bought some items at www.cheapkorsmall.com thinking they were original Michael Kors and did't realize it was a scam until yesterday. I already cancel my credit card, just in case, but I want to know if their is anything I can do to get my money back or to stop them for doing the same stuff to other people. Thanks!

If you paid for the items with your CC, you can file a dispute for items not received. Check with your CC company for details and limitations. If you paid with any other method, your money is gone forever I am sad to tell you.

The way to stop them from doing this to others is exactly what you have done. Post about them on this forum as a warning to others. Hopefully they are savvy enough to use search engines prior to purchases.

Here are the emails I received. I paid with my debit card, I don't know if I can get my money back with that method. I haven't received anything, but I made the purchase last week. Also, the invoice said that they were charging me with 126, but they collected 137 from my debit card.

Debit cards don't have the same level of protection that credit cards do, but it is worth contacting your bank (speak to the fraud department rather than general customer services). Report the transaction as unauthorised s the amount taken differs from what you were told and also mention that nothing has been delivered and you have now found out that the site is a scam.
