LinkedIn take security so casually, and make reporting fake profiles so difficult, that they deserve a good kicking.
It is far too easy to set up a fake profile, or even recruit directly through LinkedIn to support fraudulent activity.
For example this profile for Elizabeth Blake
https://www.linkedin.com/in/elisabeth-blake-123051102
is being used to support a fraudulent website documented here:

The company SFA does not exist and the LinkedIn profile picture of "Elizabeth Blake" actually belongs to Polly Gowers OBE, founder of Give as you Live the charity fundraiser.
