How eBay International Process Works for Auto Sales
As a trusted third party, eBay collects, holds and releases funds online, according to transaction terms agreed upon by the Buyer and Seller. eBay can ensure a safe transaction, overseeing the transfer of the money and delivery of the vehicle. In fact, eBay can and is being utilized by offline buyers and sellers as well due to the security the system provides to both ends of the transaction.
Both Buyers and Sellers benefit from the use of eBay, a neutral third party, to monitor and transact the exchange of the money and vehicle. The Buyer sends the money to eBay, and the company then alerts the Seller to send the vehicle to the Buyer. This gives the Seller peace of mind, as the Seller does not ship the vehicle until the full payment is verified, so he is protected from fraudulent checks and money order scams. eBay does not release the money to the Seller until the vehicle has been received and approved by the Buyer. This provides online car buyers the same security that off-line car buyers have, and the Buyer reviews the vehicle before the money is sent by eBay to the Seller. Buyer and Seller Agree to Terms and details of the transaction
After registering at eBay, both parties agree to terms of the transaction, which includes a description of the vehicle, sale price, number of days for the Buyer’s inspection of the vehicle, and any shipping information.
The Buyer Pays eBay
The Buyer submits a payment by selecting wire transfer.
The Seller Deliver the Vehicle
Upon payment verification, the Seller is authorized to deliver the vehicle to the Buyer's address and submit tracking information or to deliver the vehicle in person to the buyer. In this last case, the exchange will take place in a location agreed in advance by both parties. eBay verifies that the Buyer receives the vehicle.
Buyer Inspects and Accepts the Vehicle
The Buyer has up to 2 days to inspect the vehicle and the option to accept or reject the vehicle. Upon acceptance, the process of transferring the title should begin or provides a full refund to the potential Buyer (in case he refuses to buy the vehicle, due to it's condition).
The Seller is Paid by eBay
eBay pays the Seller by check, ACH or wire transfer. The transaction is complete.
How to send the money for your purchase
We require the payment for this transaction to be made using bank transfer. Pay with Bank Wire Transfer. It's the easy and fast way to pay online, and it lets you buy without sharing your financial details with seller. eBay will secure the payment until the buyer receives, inspects and accepts the vehicle. Or, if it will be the case, eBay will refund the payment to the buyer.

Delivery of the vehicle
Upon payment verification, the Seller is authorized to deliver the vehicle to the Buyer's address and submit tracking information or to deliver the vehicle in person to the buyer. In this last case, the exchange will take place in a location agreed in advance by both parties. eBay verifies that the Buyer receives the vehicle.
The delivery must be made within 7 days after eBay authorizes the operation, unless some other delay was mentioned in the special conditions of sale. Once this period has passed, eBay could only cancel the transaction by buyer's request. The buyer will receive a refund in full and without any additional cost.
Buyer's right to inspection
Before accepting the vehicle, it is recommended that the buyer confirms the condition of the vehicle and that it matches the description of the seller, especially the visible parts (body, wheels, tires, headlights, interior); it is also recommended that the buyer, accompanied by the seller, take the vehicle for a short test ride.
The seller is paid
Upon acceptance of the vehicle the buyer must contact eBay with the result of the inspection. Once given the green light, eBay will send payment to the bank account of the seller.
The transaction is completely secure.

• Whose title is subject to an undisclosed salvage, rebuilt, reconstructed, scrapped/destroyed, junk, lemon, manufacturer buyback, or water damage title brand at the time of the sale;
• With a model year that is different than the model year described in the seller's listing;
• With an odometer reading that is different than the odometer reading described in the seller's listing.
Your eBay purchase is protected for up to USD 50,000.00 or the vehicle/item purchase price, whichever is lower.
