The dictionary definition of Escrow is as follows: "Money held by a third party until the conditions of an agreement are met. For instance, pending the completion of a purchase, the payment for the goods will be held in escrow."

As an international escrow agency, ESG's primary role as the third party, between the remitter and beneficiary, is to protect both the buyer and seller from fraud.

In order for the escrow process to begin, ESG will accept and hold the funds from the seller - which will, in turn create a pending operation on the seller's account — until the buyer receives and approves the 'goods' (assets, funds, merchandise, services, digital products). Only then will ESG forward the payment to the seller.

When you use ESG escrow services, you will receive:
• Peace of Mind – both parties will verify that the transfer of the 'goods' has been duly completed before the funds are released to the seller;
• Security – your financial information is going to a respected third party and not an unfamiliar person;
• Money Back Guarantee – if the seller does not properly transfer the 'goods', ESG will reimburse the buyer's funds to their account;

Here at ESG, we also help to mitigate risk in a wide range of M&A transactions. Our solutions reduce the risks faced by both the buyer and the seller, and our M&A experts structure the escrow to ensure the deal is closed swiftly and securely.
