Langford Nachman is an independent over-the-counter (“OTC”) brokerage house specializing in commodity and futures trading, derivatives of oil, metals, agricultural producs, currencies, freight and other commodity markets.

Since its inception, Langford Nachman has responded to clients’ needs and expanded the product offering to include all grades of commodities and related derivatives products. We broker our products on the basis of both master and bilateral contracts and are able to negotiate structured and term business as well as prompt cargoes.

Recently Langford Nachman has seen further opportunities in the commodity market and has begun being involved in other commodities such as coking coal, chrome, manganese and nickel.

Langford Nachman also created, owns and licenses a standard master contract, currently in use, amongst many of our clients. However, Langford Nachman also realises that not all commodities can be standardized and as such and has developed a secure, online auction and procurement platform for more customized business.

Finally, Langford Nachman has realised the need to arrange project and/or structured finance for many of our producer clients and is in the unique position to be able to do so, having access to the widest range of international buyers, funders and commodity off-takers.

Langford Nachman has already arranged significant off-take finance for various clients and is able to bring a vast number of potential finance options to best serve our clients.

The firm has provided investors also with specialised alternative investment solutions. We leverage our market intelligence of supply and demand in global commodity markets. This allows us to deliver solid investment and risk management processes.

Langford Nachman’s funds are specialised in commodity trade finance and real assets. We also trade physical commodities and access opportunities through derivatives and equities. Our Commodity Investment Teams are based in Hong Kong.
