Al Zumorrodah Holding Co is a Kuwaiti Shareholding Company founded originally by Mr. Mahmoud H. Haider and other Partners in late 1960's as a trading company to seek and manage the business opportunities for the partners. With the remarkable increase in the company's activities and acquisitions the assets of the company were restructured to form Al Zumorrodah Holding Company in 2002. The company has diversified investments across various sectors ranging from financial services, energy, oil and gas, petrochemicals, healthcare, real estate, hospitality and retail. Since the latter half of 2003, the company experienced substantial growth showing strong performance, and an expanding asset portfolio through local and international markets. The company's total assets amounted to KD 510 million (USD 1.9 billion) with record net profit of KD 25 million (USD 93 million) in the first quarter of 2008.
