Thanks for posting this one--as you already said, it is a definite scam using stolen credit cards. Undoubtedly the scammer plans to choose the "pickup" option, which would involve you adding the shipping fees to the total, then sending the "shipper" the cash so he can disappear before the stolen credit card is discovered.

Unfortunately, what is obvious to many of us is not obvious to everyone--small businesses lose money to these scams every day. By posting them as you receive them, you may very well be saving a small business from a damaging loss.

I have received numerous emails from this scammer:

Hello Sales,

My name is Steve Thomson of Thomson Departmental Store, kindly answer the following question:

1, Can you ship to GA 30310 via Ups/Fedex/DHL?
2, DO you accept pick up through my account with my shipping carrier being FedEx/Ups?
3, Do you accept credit cards details as a form of payment?

I have googled the address and it is a vacant building for sale. Be wary if you get similar email.
