here is their whois registry information :
Domain Name: DCC-HK.COM
Registrar: LAUNCHPAD.COM, INC.
Whois Server: whois.launchpad.com
Referral URL: http://www.launchpad.com
Name Server: NS8009.HOSTGATOR.COM
Name Server: NS8010.HOSTGATOR.COM
Status: clientTransferProhibited
Updated Date: 14-feb-2014
Creation Date: 14-feb-2014
Expiration Date: 14-feb-2015

Very recently registered, and Only a one year lease on the name is a big red flag for scammer activity.

I could not find a "put this item in your cart" or similar button to verify if they have a secure check out system or not.

I would classify this one as "use extreme caution", as opposed to calling it an outright scam.

Plaza Hollywood (Chinese: 荷里活廣場) is one of the largest shopping centres in the Diamond Hill area, New Kowloon, Hong Kong. Featuring four floors surrounding a central atrium, its main advertising scheme involves everything similar to Hollywood. It was developed by the Wharf Holdings.

Not a likely place for an industrial supply firm.

I can't find any way to purchase anything from that site, either.

http://www.dccyemen.com/ is ten years old, but I can't find a link there to the Hong Kong company.

dccyemen says they sell Grainger - Why don't you order from Grainger?

it is a fraud, as this company is just registered in Jan 2014, not in 1990 as they said on their website.

http://www.dcc-hk.com is an excellent supplier. I have ordered from this company many times. They are registered in both Yemen ( 1990 ) and Hong Kong ( 2014 ). They have shipped all our orders on time.

This post was either made by the scammer himself or an accomplice in an attempt to salvage his scam website.

You must be really dumb if you think anyone is going to fall for your fake testimonials.

Did you just happen to crawl out of bed this morning and think "I know I'll search for dcc-hk and write good things about them"

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Hello,

It is a real registered company.

I have visited the Companies Registery by the Government of the Hong Kong ( http://www.cr.gov.hk/ ) and search about this company. The company is official and legally registered in Honk Kong.

You can do the search yourself here:

https://www.icris.cr.gov.hk/csci/login_ ... ype=iguest

It is GOVERNMENTAL website.

Good day!

This thread has veered off course.
The original OP was trying to determine whether this company was legitimate and safe to do business with.
The volunteers here at scamwarners have a great deal of experience in researching and identifying fake websites, but we do not have unlimited resources. As we don’t have a trusted volunteer in Hong Kong that can physically visit the location listed on the website, and we don’t have clear evidence either way, all we can do is address what we are able to find.
What our volunteers found is significant red flags and unanswered questions that make it impossible for us to confirm that the business is legitimate.
1) The website claims that the company has been in business since 1990. That is 25 years, a very long time. However, the website has only existed for a year, and the company registration in Hong Kong (which is listed to the website, but there is also no way to prove that it is connected) is only one year old. There is nothing on the website or in any other online documentation that our volunteers can locate to explain why there is a 24 year difference between what is stated on the websites and the traceable claims. 24 years is a very big difference in claims, and it certainly does raise red flags.
2) There is another website for DCC Yemen that is much older than the DCC-HK website (though still not 25 years old.) Much of the text on DCC-HK is a direct copy of the text on the DCC Yemen website. However, there is nothing on the DCC Yemen website that confirms a connection between that website and DCC-HK. Therefore, we cannot verify whether DCC-HK is actually connected to DCC Yemen, or whether it is a copy created by people who wish to make it appear that they are linked to the Yemen website. As scammers copy other websites regularly, we have to consider that this is a possibility here.
3) There is no online ordering system on the DCC-HK website, and no reference to accepted methods of payment. Two of the things our volunteers look for in a website (whether it is real or fake) is a safe ordering system, and accepted payment methods that offer protection to the buyer. Our volunteers were unable to verify either of these. This too gives us reason to be concerned.
