Welcome to Scamwarners Sheriff24.

I'm sorry but you must understand that just because a website is on the internet it doesn't mean that there is a real company behind it. In fact the number of fraudulent websites outnumber the real and honest ones and, if you look for cut price goods from an unknown Chinese company you have just increased your chances of getting ripped off to near 98%. In fact, if you input your card details into an unknown Chinese website, you risk not only not getting any goods but also getting your card maxed out before the end of the day.

Internet scamming is almost a science nowadays and even the dumbest scammers can now set up websites and even go to the trouble of placing good reports about them on other sites.

Chinese websites have a particularly bad reputation and I wouldn't go near one myself but, if you're in business, you'd be best recommended to get recommendations from other businessmen you trust. Having said that we see many websites set up that are impostors and look like genuine Western companies that are merely 'fronts' for foreign criminals.

I'm not picking on you because many people don't understand the risks of buying on the internet but many victims who come here have learned the hard way. To make matters more complicated foreign and domestic scammers infest most Western ad sites, and I research them a lot. Until recently in the UK websites have been offering free government services and applying fees. The online tricks, traps and fraud are too numerous to detail, but you need to make yourself aware of the risks of buying goods online.

Meanwhile steer clear of unknown Chinese websites offering electronic goods for sale at bargain prices. At best you'll get cheap and nasty replicas, at worst you'll lose your money.

CAR ADVERTS - If a car seller mentions escrow - he's scamming you Never ever for any reason pay anything until you have seen and inspected the vehicle
