My wife received a letter postmarked Nashville, TN with no return address. Inside was a letter informing her she had won $500K in a lottery she never entered, plus a check for almost $9,000 (supposedly to cover taxes and insurance).

The address listed inside was 1010 S. Ewing Avenue, Dallas, TX. The contact person had a Canadian area code. There was also a London England address.

Just curious if anyone else has received this. I did a search but could find nothing. Not sure how they separate the marks from their money since it was so obviously bogus that we didn't call.

You are correct, this is a scam. Send a copy of everything you received to your local DA and to your state Attorney General so they are aware citizens in their state and county are receiving this fake lottery winning documents.
