All the above-listed information is requested to start the scam ball rolling! They have also given pictures of an award ceremony supposed to be in South Africa, but in the background is a sign that says "MICHIGAN LOTTERY".

Yup, it is a scam Microsoft does not have a lottery. Scammers think that using a name people recognize will help pull victims. Sadly, it does work.

Would you please post up the email address you got this from and the headers.
