Welcome to ScamWarners levelonetone. Thank you for posting this scam for others to find. I am not certain how scammers obtain personal information. If I were, I would not post the information here because scammers can read what is posted here and it might help some scammer to create more victims.

I am pleased that you did not become a victim. :D

Thanks for your reply,

I took the sensitive information out but left the rest in. I think we should post it becaue of preventing others to make this payment to this guy. Especially for people who are waiting for a green card since a long time.
How would you make this avaiable for others?

Many people, when they receive emails from someone that they do not personally know, will google the email address and phone number. This is always a wise thing to do!

Now if someone googles [email protected] and/or +44 207 100 8170, they will be able to read this topic, and realise that it is a scam.

Many thanks - your post may save many other people from having their money stolen by this scammer.

You guys created a very good platform for detecting scams!
Congratulations!

Welcome to ScamWarners horen and thank you for posting this scam. There is absolutely no way that the US government would ask for payment by Western Union.

Unfortunately, there is little chance this scammer will get "caught". That is why we work hard to help expose them so people do not fall for the lies. Your and other member's participation is essential in reaching our goal.
