Apparently iv won 1.5 million pounds! ... wait, iv live in america my whole life, and have never done much outside the states, even on the internet. here's the message

Your email account has been awarded £1,050,000 In our VW Motors

This may be connected to a group i had call me earlier in the year (around march) telling me that they were from Windows, and that my computer had sent them a message saying it was infected. Seeing as how computers don't send emails to the Windows Support Team, i called them out right there, and did a Whois on their website that held their "anti virus scan" they told me to download. the second i said the Domain Owners name, they guy got extremely nervous and hung up.

Hello Unit562!

The email you received is a common loto scam. To get your fake money you will be required to send very real fees to the scammer. You can't win a lottery you never entered.

The phone call is probably not linked that is an entirely differant deal where they tell you they have "discovered" a virus on your computer. Your usually required to buy an antivirus program which if I recall doesn't really do much.
