Following, is a lottery scam recently forwarded to us from a concerned visitor. Unfortunately we do not have the ‘reply to’ email address for this scam but it is still worth posting the details. You’ll notice that the email appears to have been sent by [email protected] This is a spoofed email. If you send a message to this address it will bounce. The domain bankofengland.co.uk certainly appears to be genuine. The scammer is simply piggybacking or faking a claim to a legitimate organization. Ignore or delete all lottery scam emails such as these.
