THE ISLAMIC EMAILS INTERCONTINENTAL LOTTERY

I've never seen one like this before, and hope it's an indication of how desperate scammers are becoming, or maybe they're intending to target Muslims especially.

Whatever the purpose, it's a scam like all the rest

Targetting a particular group is not uncommon, I have seen them target specific groups a number of times.

As many in Western Society wake up to the scammers tricks they become harder to scam, once maybe 1 in 1,000 would pay up, now maybe its 1 in every 2,000, so they begin to target those countries who may not be as aware.

Asian countries are a popular target for the romance scammers and India is getting targetted by the more traditional advanced fee fraud, as the world learns how to protect themselves, these criminals evolve with a new way to scam or a new group to target, they refuse to go to work and earn a living and in fact they consider sitting in an internet cafe trying to steal money as work, they even call their victims jobs

I thought the Koran forbade gambling. Not a well thought out scam.
