got this today..not sure if this is the correct place to post it. I hope so, because they have made it impossible for ME, to copy and paste the letter. I have even tried saving it, scanning it..neither way will allow me to c/p. So I'm going to type the letter as it came to me.

YAHOO!

Attention Yahoo! Customer,

My name is Heather Norman, Vice President of Yahoo! We have recently teamed up with Apples and Facebook for a one-time promotional event today and are giving away free Apple IPads to randomly selected people who have an account with either yahoo! or Facebook. YOU have been selected as one of our newest winners for this month. We randomly choose numbers to match up with Yahoo! email addresses and your email address matched with our latest drawubg,

We've partnered up with Apple to advertise their hottest product yet, the Apple Ipad 2. Just like our last promotion when the first Ipad launched, the ipad2 promotion is for one-day only. Simply click below and enter your email address to claim yours for FREE. Make sure you enter your email address so we can locate our records to guarantee that we have reserved one for you. That's it!

Congratulations on winning our April Apple Ipad 2 Giveaway. In case you have any questions or concerns, feel free to e-mail me directly. However, you should claim your Ipad first to ensure one will be set-aside for you before the deadline ends. We do understand that you may possibly receive this email after the deadline ends. However, we highly recommend you check the site and enter your email anyway to see if yours is still on hold. During our last promotion we had several unclaimed Ipads because others hadn't claimed theirs in time and they never checked back after the deadline.

they was also a link that had a big blue arrow pointing down to it for you to click..and a TRUSTe Certified privacy seal on the bottom right of the letter.

I moved this into here from "fake sites used for fraud" as it is similar to a lottery scam.

Could you please post the email address that the scammer used as it will help others who check up to see if they are actual winners (which they're not).

Thanks. ;)
