It now appears we have a variation on a common theme. Now the scam involves the Irish Hospice Foundation, which I have verified to be a true entity. However the formatting of the letter and the codes in parentheses are the same as the "Fondation De France 2009 Award Recipient Notice". If I remember correctly, there may be one other scam like this involving yet a third organization, but still using the same code and writing style.

I am sure there would many many variations on this scam using a whole range of different organisations to help promote their scam.

The one thing that could stop this scam is if everybody realised they would never be contacted by email from a lottery they have not given their email address to, even then it would be highly unusual.
