Be informed that this program is a promotional sweepstakes sponsored by consortium of software promotion companies. Yes, that is a scam. The format has been used for years.

You cannot win a Lottery you did not enter. Lottery winners are not notified by email from an anonymous person. If you were the winner, they would not have said "Dear Sir/Madam"
