It is indeed a scam.

For starters, you cannot win a sweepstakes or a lottery you did not enter. You also won't be notified by email of winning hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars! And, a real lottery would not be telling you to keep your winning a secret or to email some random person to claim a prize.

I myself find it amazing how many people apparently have had the exact same ticket numbers!

Just adding to the comment of Dotti. The scammer tried this exact fraud in 2012. The facsimile number you posted has been clearly linked to a chinese banking scam perpetrated by nigerian scammers in the second half of twenty ten.

Dotti it's 365 hits on that number and those are only the reported scam information and a bit of calculator work reduces it to £5068. Then take out all the other ones not reported and it quickly becomes zilch. That's what a scammer does, offers nothing. And you will be asked for money by Western Union transfer to get nothing.
Incidently the only contacts for UK National Lottery look like this [email protected] so regardless of what the email says if it ain't [email protected] to email them back somewhere there it's fake.
Also all the phone numbers Tell +44 792 454 1351 Tell: +44 703 174 2837 redirect to Nigeria. And they can't spell either.
Aside from which Camelot is not a charity it is a business and runs at a profit. Winnings come from selling lottery tickets and a small proportion is allocated to organisations who apply for a slice- with difficulty.
