Dr. Anthony Magnus is a "Microsoft Lottery" scammer. He sends an email saying that you won the "Microsoft Lottery," and all you need to do to claim your winnings is confirm your information. He will ask for personal details including your name, address, bank account number, telephone number, etc.
You should never provide this information to anyone you don't know, especially someone who contacted you at random through an anonymous free email account on the internet!
The next step of the scam will ask you to pay certain "fees" or "taxes" or "duties" in order to claim your winnings. This cannot be deducted from your "winnings" (because they don't really exist), so you have to send it by wire service (western union or money gram) or bank transfer.
You should never send cash to someone you don't know personally! Once money is sent by wire service or bank transfer, it is just like you handed cash to a stranger. It is gone, and there is nothing you can do to get it back.
If you have been communicating with Dr. Anthony Magnus, you are advised to stop responding to his email and/or phone calls and do not communicate with him any more for any reason. Remember, he is a criminal, and he has your personal information. If you have given him any banking information please contact your financial institution at once.
