Publishers Clearing House

This email has not been sent by the real Publishers Clearing House; it has been sent by a scammer.

The genuine telephone of PCH in the UK begins +44 19. The telephone number which this scammer has given begins +44 70 - that is not a normal UK telephone number, but a redirect number, which redirects all calls to a telephone anywhere in the world.

Note also that the email address of the real UK Publishers Clearing House ends with @corp.pchprizes.co.uk - not @eircom.net or @w.cn.

The Publishers Clearing House website states:

If you are contacted by someone who says you won a prize, but in order to claim it you must .... pay a shipping, handling, or delivery fee, prepay taxes, pay a deposit, give a credit card number .... it is NOT affiliated in any way with the real Publishers Clearing House.

This scammer will be asking for a fee or other type of payment. He will say that this is necessary before the winnings can be received. This is untrue. He has no connection to any lottery, and he does not have any prize money to send to anyone.
