Hi guys.
I'm not actually sure if I'm being scammed or not but the fact i have gut feeling, tells me.i need to check.
I have been speaking to a supposedly US military guy who is based in Afghan and he flits from 2 different camps. Camp Shorabak and Camp Bagram. At Bagram he can get onto Facebook and has an account but with only me as a friend. He says he had to deactivate his other one because of something to do with Taliban so we message on fb. But at shorabak we can't do same because he is a reserve he can't get software for fb!! So we email.
Well he has a small business back home in US and he applied for a project which has now come up, he had to send a quotation which he sent me copy of and they accepted his quote. He is still based in Afghan till June. But what he's saying is that his business account at bank back home has been suspended, and this company needs to transfer funds for equipment to he needs to use. And has he's said he's not allowed to make transactions while deployed that's he's stuck as to what to do. He's asked for my suggestions as in the last 3 months he's asked me to marry him etc etc, as I told him I didn't have any suggestions he said that only one he had was to ask if theycould transfer money to my account, which I told him I didn't have one because I had a feeling this question would come up, I do have one but wasn't telling him that. So in order to check if he was after getting money out of an account of mine, I told him I would open an account and not use it myself but just have it for the project transactions and he was quite happy with that. Now he's never asked me for money or anything. He's told me he can't use a phone at the camp as he's a ICT Sapper engineer and it's cus of security and they can't use Skype cus again he's a reserve in camp and doing a Door Breach Charge Course. He said his wife died in 2008 and he has 8 yrs old son who lives with his grandmother in Dallas. I'm just so confused and have already fallen for him, although I know how stupid that sounds. I'm not sure if this is a scam or not because I don't know the US military rules etc. Please help. I have photos he sent me but don't want to give up his name or them photos till I know for sure.

Looks like a scam to me . Post the emails he's using along with links to any social media sites so we can look at them .

His project transactions will be fake checks or money orders or transfers from phished / hacked accounts . Don't give him access to any account of yours .

Sure hun im gonna have to resign ones im out. Hun sure i do understand if you could come up with a suggestion you would have done that a long time ago. cupcake of course i have jobs still waiting at home but remember that i told you that i operate my business on the STATES on low scale cos i ain't got all necessary license and tax clearance cos for me to establish largely i need to clear some taxes and complete some registrations and incorporations so cos of this i have limited services in US. I cannot serve PLCs. So i explained to you that if i succeed in executing this project i will make enough profit to complete my registrations with the IRS nd have my incorprated license then i can do big projects in US. So this is the biggest contract ever in my company so i just believe God wants it for me. Hun hope you understand?? i sorry i dont actually mean putting you on the spot. im only asking if you have any suggestion cos what i ws able to come up with as my suggestion but i thought of consulting you first on the idea as my wife is.... since im gonna be out by June and shipping the equipment is gonna take bout a month to arrive Turkey so im suggesting WHAT IF WE ASK TRANSATLANTIC THAT MY BUSINESS ACCOUNT IS SUSPENDED FOR SOME MARTIAL LAW REASONS BUT IF THEY CAN TRANSFER TO MY WIFE STEPH SO I CAN DIRECT YOU ON HOW TO CONTACT THE COMPANIES IN ASIA WHOM I BUY EQUIPMENTS FROM SO ALL YOU NEED DO IS TO FOLLOW MTY INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO TRANSFER MONEY TO THEM SEPARATELY TILL WE ARE DONE WITH THE PURCHASE SO BEFORE THE GOODS ARRIVE TURKEY IT MUST HAVE BEEN GETTING TO JUNE SO INSTEAD OF GETTING OUT BY JUNE AND START PURCHASING THE EQUIPMENTS AND WAITING ON THE SHIPMENT ARRIVAL. 


Hun hope you understand my suggestion?? i think its a wise one?? so as soon as i come out you'd start coming to the states so we can spend about 2 weeks before i travel to turkey. this i my suggestion so let me know what you think so i can write to TransAtlantic bout it

Go to his profile left click in the address bar . It will turn blue . Right click and select copy . Paste it into a notepad note . Than open a reply here and paste it .

Alternately, if you cant figure out how to recover the link . Just post the name he is using on facebook and the US city and state he claims to be in and I can find it .

It's mike davis, said he's from Irvine California, although he said he had to move to dallas cus he had to be nearer Fort Hood?? I presume that's an army base

That profile is fake . The name and photos were probably stolen from the real Mike Davis.




Did you converse with this profile over the facebook messenging system ? The wording of his messages is not consistent with anyone from Southern California

Yeah it's all starting to make sense now, it's took me 3 months :/ how do u let these army guys know these rats are using their pictures and of their kids aswell!!! It's so bad. Thanks for your help.

All we can do is fake mark them as being used in a scam . The romance scammers steal them off the internet . This romance scammer sounds Nigerian .


Block him from your facebook page . And myself or another member here on the daylight side of the planet will fake mark them . Thanks for posting to Scamwarners . Your post will help warn other potential victims of this romance scam .

I spoke to him alot on fb messenger, and although a couple of words didn't match same meaning as ours in UK he sounded and wrote quite good if he was Nigerian. Although he did send me voice recording that sounded African American so someone told me. But didn't want to believe it lol. He knew so much about the military aswell. All the protocols and all the military slings etc. He must have been doing it along time and to loads of women. Rat
