I was almost a victim of this "handy watkins" Things he was saying to me were just not adding up.. He would never answer my questions directly about where he was from... He first found me on facebook and told me he was on a defensive mission in Qatar after a few weeks he then sd he was being deployed to Nigeria. That was a big red flag for me. I never new the military had a camp in Nigeria.. I never question him about this I just started doing research online and started to believe this person was a liar.. After I did my online research I deleted all of my emails and pictures of him and told him not to contact me again. He said I insulted him and he had never been hurt like this before. I then started to feel as though he really did not give me a reason not to trust him and he never asked me for anything and we were just talking but I still has this weird gut feeling about the whole situation so I decieded to google his email address again and this is when I found your post... this is the last email that he sent me that I do have a copy of... Thank God I found out the truth...

I have a post on here I put up within last few days on collinsmoore84. Please check it out and see if this is the same man? I just got two more pictures from him and will add to my post. Heres the link viewtopic.php?f=26&t=38865#p96332

After reading your article I did some more checking and this is what I have found out:
Under Sgt Collin Handy there are no fb pages or other yahoo accounts.
Under David Handy there is a FB account that is private BUT he is wearing the same shirt that Collin is wearing in his avatar for collinsmoore84@yahoo messenger and same blue shirt on his email picture.
Under [email protected] his avatar picture is different than mine. What I caught is the eyes and the tattoos are one and the same.
When I ran the picture I got today with him and his little girl, I got this:

It is annoying, the same guy had me fallen in his trap his name this time shy Nick Handy and is on nickhandy [email protected] he is also on facebook. The girls name is Mandy . Have been in touch with him since july ..the story given to me is he is winding up his mission in Afghanistan on 26 of this moth. The daughter is in Ghana with grandma as her mother left with another man. I met him on wayn.com but he deleted his a account since then I and so did I, so as to try build up a relationship. He sent me almost same pictures. On facebook is with the girl. He got my 200 pounds but his demands for mor items, this time a laptop and his conflicting statements. Plus poor english made me suspicious and I started to look for information about him till I reached this site. I have the photos on my desktop will post them if anyone is interested.

Welcome to ScamWarners datii, Your best course of action is to just stop communicating with the scammer. Nothing good comes from staying in contact with a scammer.

This scammer is know to me as Leonard Handy. He sent me a message on a dating site that I am registered on. He has done nothing but wasted 10 days of my life. Nothing but all lies, but I had begin to suspect this from day on, however it took me until now, to confirm he is a fake. He has many many facebook profiles using the name "Handy" in many variations. You can not believe one word out of this man's mouth.
just wanted to list the Facebook Names this guy is usind. I have reported them all to Facebook:

Handy Illescas
Anthony Handy
David Handy
Washington Handy
Handy Thomas
Handy Roy
Leonard Handy
Handy More
Williams Brian Handy
Anthony Handy
Robinson Handy
Antony Handy
Handy Smith

All of them are using these same "Handy" Photos. I addition to Facebook I have found him on two marriage sites, and reported him to both!

I am on here for my mother. She was recently scammed by Anthony Handy. She met him about a month ago on blackpeoplemeet.com. The same pictures and similar stories were on his profile. He gave a story that he is stationed in Afghanistan but his daughter is in Ghana with the caretaker. He went as far as to have ordered my mother dominos one day and sent it to the house. He told her that he had something for her, a couple days later UPS showed up with a flat screen 32" smart tv. She thanked him for the tv, then he stated that the tv was for his precious daughter "Matilda". He wanted her to send the tv to a PO Box in Accra Ghana. She told him that she was sending the tv back that she was through with him, he stated that if she doesn't send $5000 and the tv he would post her naked pictures on Facebook. He later changed it to $3000, then he was just like just send my tv. A couple of days ago we began to get phone calls stating that there were naked photos of my mother on Facebook. They are posted through some girls page name RITA PATIENCE. They are also being shared by others. We are struggling to get the photos removed off of facebook. We have gotten the police involved and we have also shared our story with the local news station. PLEASE becareful when it comes to this man. IF anyone has any tips, or if you know what we can do to help get the photos removed, we would GREATLY APPRECIATE it!

I am here for my mother as well. She didnt get scammed by him, but im glad she listened to me. :D She met him off of blackplanet.com, except his name was Thomas Handy and claim he had a daughter by the name of Jennifer. He told my mother and myself that he was Afganistan and that he would be back in the states by December. He promised my mother an me a car and wanted to move us into a house that he wanted to get built. She believed him, but i knew it was something fishy about him when he started suggesting that he send money to my mother if she was to get a credit card and send him the number so he could put money on it.. I then told my mother he didnt need a credit card to send us money. He was telling her i was wrong and that his finance person adviced him on the credit card was the best way. Later he claim someone hacked into his email pretending to be him ([email protected]) so he gave us another one ([email protected]). He even gave us an email to contact his daughter "jennifer" at [email protected] or something close to it.
He never did follow up and never did come to the states when he said he was coming. He kept giving up bogus information about when he was coming then after a while, he changed his name again on black planet two different times and found my mother again both times. One account was Anthony Handy and the other one she told me about John Handy. Im glad she finally seen things my way and never really tried to send this guy money. This guy needs to be shut down and fast. :bondage:

We are struggling to get the photos removed off of facebook.

I would go back to Facebook and point out that the copywright owner is the person photographed and that they are the victim of blackmail which is under investigation by the police. Make sure that the police are alerted to this.

Making threats and demanding money puts this scammer in a different league and is liable to bring him more attention than is going to be comfortable.

This man approached me on Dutch datingsite Badoo as George Handy from Orlando. A widower for 3 years after his wife died (after 13 years off marriage) in a carcrash visiting her family in Ghana. His daughter (Mandy)now stays with her grandmother in Ghana until he's back from Kabul, Afghanistan. Unfortunately he can't send money from Afghanistan to her for schoolfees etc. Just today he's asked me if I could?! Yeah right!! No way.... Started searching and ended up here; I am shocked!! Feel so sorry for the guy on the photo's!!!
