What a fool i was [email protected]

Can any1 help me please as i have been scammed by mark fassl grant pretendin 2 b a lt in the usa army n based in syria..I was a fool and fell for all his charms. I keep gettin bombarded wiv messages from him now callin me all the names under the sun..Wat do i do now any advice please..

The best thing to do is NEVER contact this person ever again. You did not specify how the scammer was sending you messages but there is a high chance that you can block him or add him to your ignore list. This will stop you from getting the scammer's empty threats. Also it would be great if you posted any emails or messages that looked scripted (initial messages) so that other people can see it if they also got sent the scammers script they would see this website and realize that it is a scam.

I have deleted all his e-mails he sent me but his addy is [email protected] and i met him on flirtomatic his nickname on there is seanlistens n i think he also goes by seanphilipslistens..

I am sorry this happened to you tweety.
One of the reasons the slimy tricksters pretend to be high ranking service officials is because it makes them sound important. The scam-artists are good at what they do and please do not be too harsh on yourself. Many of us have been scammed and it does leave a bad feeling. Sad to say it's one of the downsides of the internet.

That sometimes happens because the scammers source of revenue has been cut-off. You are no longer playing it's game. Good grief, the scammer may have to get off it's arse and actually go to work like the rest of us!
If you have not done so, viewtopic.php?f=2&t=75443 gives an insight into what's really happening when you think you're talking to that handsome man or lovely lady.
May I suggest increasing your e-mail settings to filter out unwanted messages before you even see them. Some computer anti-virus programmes also include a email filter type feature where you can train the inbox to disallow certain messages. Whatever you do, making further contact with the scammer is a no, no. It's abusive to you because you have the scammer on the backfoot and they hate it.

You say he's a real charmer, when in actual fact he may only speak what is known as Pidgin English. Very often the mails are copied and pasted from many sites that provide romantic scripts. I have impersonated females and males to speak to these scammers on the phone and I've had trouble making any sense of anything they say. The risk is that even now you have a mental picture that these people are represented by the mails they send you, and they aren't. In the main most are under 20 and spend the money they get buying the strongest alcohol they can by buy each night with their pals telling each other what money they've scammed. Scamming and getting drunk is their life, and I can follow their facebook pages to confirm this.

The abuse you're getting now is the true character of the person you're dealing with who has learned to mimiic what a female looks for in an ideal partner, but he only does it to get money. If you met him in real life you'd cross the street to avoid him. as females in his own country do.

There are some well-educated sophisticated scammers who do it for a living and have a wife and family, and they are really dangerous as they can even sound plausible and sophisticated on the phone. Most scammers would be busted if you ever tried speaking to them on the phone but beware, because often a 'dumb' scammer can get one of his sophisticated buddies to handle phone calls for him - for a price.

If you only know someone from the internet - never send them any money or presents for any reason. Follow that rule and you won't get scammed. An honest person wouldn't ask or expect you to do it.

Will I was to do don't feel bad.I have had the same guy do the same to me.I feel like such an idiot. and he has been calling me names as well and still emailing me.I don't know what to do either. it would be great if someone on here will help us. please someone that knows anything help us. this really needs to stop with this man.
