.It is nice to read from you again. From your email, i can tell that you like to live life to the fullest and have fun, I like that. I see that you love to travel too, impressive! Let me give you a bit of a history about myself. I was born on the 5th day of October in 1959. I'm American by birth and descent. My Dad was an antiques dealer and he was always on the move. Most of my holidays were spent in Europe and my favorite destinations were Paris, Greece and Switzerland. I lost my Dad at a fairly tender age and my mom really wasn't able to get over his death. She died of stroke a few years after. I earned my first degree and majored in Bio-Fuel Engineering in the States. I got married shortly after my Masters Degree. I and my ex lived in Minnesota. We were married for 15years but later got divorced in 2000.
The gasohol company I used to work for became marginally productive. They were affiliated with a Brazilian ethanol manufacturing company and the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 in the States which mandated an increase in renewable fuels for the transport sector, caused the U.S. Department of Energy to levy heavy tariffs on importation of ethanol so that the local industries can thrive. I later found out that importation of gasohol derivatives was more lucrative and more recently, I was introduced to the importation of pump adapters.
I'm also a Consultant on sources of Alternative Energy. I'm a consultant for the Venus project, which has to do with the creation of a resource based economy. The ultimate goal of a resource based economy is to provide better standards of living for mankind. My area of involvement has to do with the production of gasohol by blending ethanol with gasoline leading to a reduction in the emission of green house gases. Ethanol is used as an oxygenate to gasoline (oxygenates are usually used as gasoline additives to cut down or reduce carbon monoxide that is created during the burning of fuel) Now to know the percentage of ethanol in a given volume of gasoline, 'E' numbers are used. E10 means 10% ethanol in 90% gasoline. E25 means 25% ethanol in 75% gasoline and so on. The advantage of 'E' fuels is that they increase the octane ratings of fuel (the octane rating is a measure of the resistance of fuel to knocking) but the most important advantages are that they are environmentally friendly leading to less emission of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons (HC), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and particulate matter which are the most dangerous pollutants to the human race. Now the GHG emission is reduced by 60percent with ethanol gotten from cellulose which is a step in the right direction if you ask me. I consider myself as spiritual but not religious. I believe the moment we take the different religious doctrines out of the picture and preach mutual love for one another the world will be a better and safer place to live in.
Although I said I do not pay much attention to the Outer beauty, I do appreciate beauty and of course, I would prefer a nicer looking woman over one who is not so attractive at a glance. Intellect is a Trait that attracts me to women and not a lot of pretty women posses this quality. Moving to Bern will be very rewarding for me because Switzerland has shown a geometric rate in the consumption of bio-diesel and there are less rigorous custom restrictions, coupled with the fact that bio-diesel is imported duty free in Switzerland. There has also been a considerable reduction in the mineral oil tax on Bio-fuel, because of it's contribution to the reduction of green house gas emission. I can't really say I'm living the dream but I believe happiness is actually a decision and not a feeling. Well I hope you understand everything I have said so far.
I see we share almost the same perspective of life; I am quite excited to get to meet you in person. I know from the way I gave so much detail about my job, you'll think you were reading a boring Chemistry journal. You might even think it is where I invest almost all of my energy. Well the truth is I like my job but I have a lot of other interests. I am quite contented with where I am today. I sometimes consider myself ambitious because I have a lot of dreams I wish to achieve before I die. Tomorrow a guide will be taking me round a few tourist attractions. I would be passing through the famous Shaikh Zayed Road which has the Dubai World Trade Center just beside it. I would also visit the Desert Safari, the Jumeirah Beach and a few places of note. I sure would take a few pictures so you can see the beauty of Dubai. This is not part of my job down here but you know the famous saying about all work and no play! So now that I have told you about what I do and the kind of person I am, I think it is time to talk about the kind of woman I like.
I usually trust people until proven wrong. I don't have a real "type" that I am looking for because describing my ideal woman would be to define her, To qualify her; There would be a beginning and an end..I believe there should be no definition fitting, nor limits, nor beginning or end to her beauty, or to how special she is, or my love for her when we eventually get to meet. A caring woman that is willing to settle down with me for a serious relationship, I will know it when I meet her. I believe that being at peace with yourself is the first component needed to be a good partner. Loyalty and commitment to the person you have chosen to build a life with must be top priority . Being creative and attentive to the ongoing process of maintaining love and passion is vitally important so that the love does not grow stale. I am looking for someone who shares some of my same qualities and interests and likes to hang out and have fun, whether we are at home or out. When you find that special person, you should be able to have fun no matter where you are! I am looking for someone who wants a lover that can also be their best friend.
I like someone who is optimistic and generous with her compassion, attention, sympathies and Love. Although I like to be intimate enough to share my deepest emotional thoughts and desires with my Partner, I also appreciate it if my partner gives me space to be my own person. Being Gentle and Kind are also traits that attract me, but most of all I must feel deeply in love with her. Now let me ask you some important questions. I would want you to tell me a trait you have noticed in couples that have maintained a successful relationship for many years(except from love)? Describe an interest you have that you would truly hope your partner could share with you. After reading your email, you've been on my mind. My British accent came from spending a lot of time in the U.K because of my work and yeah, it comes with a sense of humor too. I had fun on the tour and the weather was very beautiful. The trip was fun all the way. My work down here has been very productive and things have been going as planned.
One trait I have noticed in couples who have maintained a steady caring relationship is being able to trust each other completely. When I find myself in any sort of relationship with humans, I always try to leave my expectations level at zero. I do that because when you expect nothing you can hardly get hurt or be disappointed. I would like to tell you some of the things I have noticed always bring relationships to an end. Firstly when someone lies -especially to their Partner, it is never a good way to go. When a person is Self Centered, Mean Spirited and so tightfisted as to be impractical, it would always be difficult to have a successful relationship with such a person.
Love and commitment always come along with trust. Something I am very proud of when I look back on my life, is the fact that I have taken positives from past mistakes and it has really helped to build up my optimism. I would love for my partner to share a desire to travel and explore different places and landscapes with me. I know what it means to have someone to talk to, Someone with whom you can share your innermost thoughts and desires, With the exception of a couple areas right now, I am extremely comfortable talking about my innermost needs and desires with you. I also appreciate that you see me as someone you can talk to and confide in. Mahatma Gandhi has been someone I've always admired, he is one of the most selfless fellows that ever existed with power. He is one of the few true heroes I know. I usually take my time to know the person on the inside rather than judge by appearances, present status or peoples opinions.

If you had three wishes, what would they be? and What is the most adventurous thing you've ever done? what do you like to do when you stay at home for the evening? watch TV? clean? talk on the phone? read? I could tell that from your email. You are pretty adventurous and I really cannot wait to see you face to face so you can tell me more adventurous and spontaneous things you have done. Amongst Respect, Money, Fame or power? Respect would definitely be the one I want most amongst these qualities. If I had 3 wishes I would make one for God to save mankind from hurting one another so much and to instead of having that desire, to have a genuine need to help their fellow man instead. It seems that there is so much violence and strife going on in the world now and has been for a while. I think if we just had the intention to help more our world would be better, people would not be starving, homeless, or suffering from diseases that we already know how to treat. A second wish right now would be for society to have the knowledge of how to cure so many diseases that have impacted so many people (cancer, MS, ALS, HIV etc...) and for society to act on that knowledge to make the world a better place. For my 3rd wish, It would be better I tell you that face to face when I get back home.
I have really done a lot of adventurous things in my life like rock climbing, jumping out of planes or running with the bulls. However if i was to pick one single event as the most adventurous one It would be traveling by myself to go and do my fieldwork experiences in certain third world countries. I want you to know that you can feel totally free around me and say whats on your mind whenever you feel it. Like I told you earlier I'm very open minded.
