Blackmail Scams - Sextortion Scams

So hi there guys I have a bit of a high spirit tonight more than yesterday . Here is why

I signed up for a dating site " MeetMe " which of course I've seen a lot of topics mentioned it.
And of course just like the rest of you had a conversation with black lady with age of 30 from my state and for an ugly looking guy like me it was to perfect to be true any way she asked me for my number and I was kinda like that so i gave it to her and she deleted her profile right after she texted me I told myself here we go finally someone appreciate my uncharted charm look .
We exchanged selfies and passionate conversation about our selves after few minutes she sent a wild selfie so I returned the favor with one of mine.
Next day I got a message from someone who is saying that he's here father and in talking to 15 years old girl if I won't respond back and work things out with him he will contact the authorities . I was literally ... not really literally but metaphorically I pooped my pants ... so I responded back to him via a texting app and calling him Nigerian scam he responded with a capital letter messages so I decided to slow down and explain that wasn't my fault if his daughter was on adult dating app and he better give some attention to her behavior and actions.
He responded back saying he believes it an honest mistake that I did . He kept going on with explaining that I should help him with wants her consoling and rehabilitation program instead of going to the authorities. At This point I completely lost every doubt that is a scam project right there and my best reaction to that is to make him asking me for money as a legal evidence against him to prove that he's a
SEXTORTION SCAM who is trying to blackmail or in case he pull something else in the future . I kept him under the impression that I'm scared and willing to put up with his BS and blackmailing . The conversation last till 830 pm and I asked him can he find out how much I should pay him can you find out ?
He responded right away he's going to pay 1000 his insurance will pay 1000 and I will pay 1000 .
Also he's ok with me paying 500 now and another 500 later .my response to him was I live paycheck to paycheck so I can't really afford that I only can pay him 150 every 2 weeks so he agreed with that " imagine a scammer put you on payment plan "
I changed my phone number deactivated my Facebook and all my social media accounts .
I took screenshots of the whole conversation as a records I might need in the future he can kiss my rear I will never bow down to anyone who wants to enslave me or take my freedom away just because he thinks I'm going to be afraid and broken under his control.. I don't know what he can do but whatever he tries in the future near or far he won't get what he wants from me That's a promise

BEWARE! I was just black mailed by a “girl” tonight on kik, threatening to publish my nudes (after she sent her fake ones) and destroy my life, if I don’t sign up for a website!! Her profile says Hanna Gibson on kik and her username is hannamae241!! Spread the word!! Never again will I share sensitive pictures online, I’m just glad I didn’t give her my Facebook account when she asked for it

And I'm not even going to waste my time posting the additional pages of fake profiles . The million dollar question is . " What website did this blackmail scammer require you to sign up at ?"

I got my slef in a pickle this girl started messaging on kik and it seemed like a real person so i let my guard down it was an engaging conversation at first so they built trust then she sent me a pic and ask for one in return so i did not thinking then she wanted full body ones with face again not think i sent the she posted pics of my facebook and my frends and family threatening to send the pics to every one if i didnt send 300 throug western union how should i handle this

Do not pay the blackmail.

Stop contact with the scammer.

So I got caught in that kik scam for the same stupid mistake. I have followed all instructions and even flagged my name on google to receive an email if anything is posted. My question is, do they usually follow up with their threats? I see many people posting they block them but never any feedback on what happened months later. Just looking for some piece of mind! Hi, I'm definitely new to this party but I figure I also need to tell my story so that someone won't make the same mistake I made.

I just had an argument with my ex-girlfriend and I was feeling lonely, I decided to load up my Plenty of Fish profile. I kept looking through when I found this Caucasian girl named "Kendra", her profile seemed mostly normal for an 18-19 year old girl besides having just one profile picture and the end of her seemingly normal profile message being extremely sexual and saying leave your number and name. Being a horny teenager I jumped at this, even though the rational part of brain saw the red flags, and messaged her with my name and number and had a one word exchange before she stopped replying. Red flag #4, on POF it never said she viewed my profile which is odd for people that you message. Next time I checked, her profile was gone which I thought meant she was a spam bot. Suddenly a few days later out of the blue,she messages me back through text saying Hi___ it's Kendra. I didn't know who it was and she told me I met her on POF, we started talking, she sends me a face pic and asks me to send her one of what I look like...that's normal stuff.

Then she sends me a full nude body pic...which oddly looked a bit like a different girl than the original, but even this wouldn't sway teenage me so I called her beautiful and asked to meet up. She said she was from South Carolina, just moved to my state, which was odd because when I started mentioning places, she didn't reply back. Usually someone would say the town they were from or something and also said her parents don't mind her having people over.I start asking to meet up and an address, likely because the scammer had none to give me, and she goes quiet for over a day.

Then the next day she sends me a good morning text, we get back to talking and at this point I was worried I moved too fast, she said it was fine and then kept asking to see my dick. I sent her a picture and then I asked her to send me a pic, which she did, which looked a bit different to other one which I ignored again like an idiot. She then said she was going to make a video for me with her mother's laptop. I wait for about 5 minutes and then I get a call from a number with the name South Carolina area code with a guy on the line claiming to be Kendra's father!

He sounded African American and started screaming at me about how I just caught my 15 year old daughter in the bathroom to trying to make a video for you, she broke the laptop and I'm thinking about pressing charges. He kept calling me sir and son and his voice kept getting louder. I was decidedly freaked out at this point and said I didn't know she was 15, at which he kept telling me she told me she was and I said I was fine with it. He then said I need to pay for the laptop or he would go to the police station, he said the laptop was $11,00 which the rational part of my brain thought was odd but I was super scared. But luckily I then proceeded to hang up to phone and go straight to the police station at my college to report this. All this time he kept texting me with both numbers saying that he was on his way to the police, this is not a game boy, and when I told him I was going to police first he said "tell them you sexted a 15 year old girl".

After talking to the officer who was really sympathetic to the situation, I got another call from him which the officer answer whom he proceeded to scream at and ask for the badge number of, I forget what the guy said his name was but I doubt the alias really matters. After which he sent me 3 more texts, one saying "I'm at the police station" and "you're going to jail". The final one really freaked me out, because it was a screenshot attached to my number with a conversation I didn't write, with her saying "I'm really 15, that okay" and my side saying "thats fine, im only 18" or something like that...strange because I'm not 18 even if i look it. The officer advised me to delete everything I received, change my number, get off those dating websites and meet back with him later. I left being decidedly scared til I found all the many articles and videos about what happened, "Plenty of Sharks" being the big one.

As soon as I saw my experience checked every box, including the laptop story word for word, some of the calls being from South Carolina and one of the caller's messages sounding like the father of "Kendra" I knew I had to spread the word. Don't be a moron like me, these people are running some kind of sexting extortion ring and using emotional blackmail to get money..I think out of South Carolina. Stay far the f*ck away from Plenty of Fish, these people are crafty, they have some kind of location software to make the fake profile seem close, messaging editing software to create fake messages after you've already sent pictures and apparently fake caller id to pose as police departments and fake officers and investigators. It's f*cking sick and I stupidly gave these people way too much info about myself as it was.

Update. The same guy wants me to buy
2 green dot cards and put 300 on both. I paid him before the last message i posted before amd he wants me to finish. He gave me detailed description on what to do and sent a pic of the card.

The girls phone: 8645089627... he used this phone to check in during the beginning and then changed it.
He used a different phone when he caled the first time....
I want to go change my number but scared that this is for real and that it will turn worse for me.

Ignore all demands for money. If you pay the scammer he will continue to blackmail you. You will only stop paying when you go broke or realize you are being scammed.
