I knew that all along of course, I would have posted more descriptive instructions earlier except for having guests
Steve you mentioned that you are no closer to knowing the truth, from the research in my earlier post which happens to contain both the names you mentioned as well as an amount of money which is a little over $10 Mil are the emial addresses in that email the same as the person who contacted you, if so then that provides absolute proof that it is a scam without the theory of "if it quacks like a duck" (sorry Crispy
) which shows every indication of a scam.
When you post in the header tool you can also click on some of the other options, have a go and you may be surprised what you will see, one thing of interest is the urgent message tab which shows a list of other listed scams that have been sent from the same IP address
I presume the IP was the same as the IP in
this search result which is actually showing France
80.12.0.0 France (Rennes)*
That certainly is possible but it doesn't follow the usual trend, scammers do sometimes use proxies which may be the case here and make a little more sense but we cant rule out French based scammers either as we do know that scammers come from all parts of the world, except Antarctica alledgedly but I wont guarentee that either
